Conaway Chronicle Special Announcement on Inauguration Tickets
__________________________________________

On January 21, 2013, the Capitol grounds will host another historic Inauguration ceremony of our President.  If you are interested in attending this event, you may request tickets for the outdoor inauguration ceremony through the 11th District’s website

Due to a limited number of tickets available and the high volume of inquiries, my office is striving to make sure that these requests are honored in the fairest way possible.  We ask that only one request per household is submitted and a maximum of four tickets are requested.  We will be holding a lottery to make certain that the tickets are evenly distributed and my office will work hard to ensure that as many people from the 11th District will be able to attend as possible.  The deadline to request tickets is December 14th.

In order to reduce duplication and ensure everyone has an equal chance in the drawing, we will only be accepting requests through the 11th District’s website.  If you are unable to access our website, please contact one of our local district offices and they will be happy to assist you.  Contact information can be found by clicking here.

Unfortunately, we can only allow constituents of the 11th District of Texas to submit a request. If you are a constituent of another district, please contact your Representative for assistance.

Please, note that you are responsible for all travel and lodging arrangements to and from Washington.  Also, please take into consideration that this is an outdoor event and is historically cold and wet.  The tickets are not seated, and you should anticipate being outside and standing for approximately three hours.

Thank you for your interest in inauguration tickets, and I look forward to seeing y’all up here to share in this historic event!

As always, you can follow me on

Rep. Mike Conaway, 11th District
