Thank you for reading The Conaway Chronicle, a review of my activities in Congress and the 11th District.
Town Hall Meetings
Thanks to all who came out to the town hall meetings we had this week in Stanton and Colorado City. There were a lot of good questions asked, and we had very productive conversations about the direction of our country and what we can do to get back on track. If you weren't able to join me this time, I hope to see you next time I'm stopping by. Here are a few pictures from the town halls:
Supreme Court Justice Scalia Passes Away
The Supreme Court has suffered a great loss this week. Justice Scalia was a deeply respected scholar and a man of incredible integrity. Throughout his nearly three decades on the Supreme Court, Justice Scalia proved himself a fierce defender of the Constitution. Both his astute decisions and thoughtful dissents will continue to influence our nation for many years to come. Suzanne and I will be keeping Justice Scalia's family in our prayers as they mourn the loss of a truly outstanding man.
Local Western Artist Jack Moss
There's no question that the Texas Hill Country is full of striking beauty. One local artist, Jack Moss, has worked hard to capture the spirit of life in the Hill Country. Born and raised in West Texas, Jack would often draw and paint the scenes he saw as a boy working with cattle and horses. He fulfilled his lifelong dream of opening a gallery with the opening of the Gridiron Gallery in Llano where he showcases his works depicting cowboys, landscapes, Native American History, and life in West Texas. Next time you're in Llano, swing by to see some really captivating art from a true Western artist!
As always, you can follow me on

Sincerely,

Rep. Mike Conaway, 11th District
