Thank you for reading The Conaway Chronicle, a review of my activities in Congress and the 11th District.

Visiting ORMC

Yesterday, Suzanne and I toured the Odessa Regional Medical Center (ORMC). We saw several departments but the most touching was the neonatal intensive-care unit (NICU). ORMC serves as the primary provider for NICU services for 17 counties. It was incredibly touching to see the love, care, expertise, and professionalism that their staff provides to the most vulnerable among us. It was a privilege to visit with CEO Stacey Gerig, COO Levi Stone, and their staff.

Remembering Nancy Reagan

Nancy Reagan will be forever remembered as a devoted wife and a passionate advocate for one of the greatest presidents this country has seen. The world lost a great woman this week, but we can take comfort in knowing that she is now reunited with the love of her life. Rest in peace, Mrs. Reagan.

Visiting Palmer of Texas

This week, I got to visit the Palmer of Texas manufacturing facility in Andrews. Since 1979, Palmer has built fiberglass and steel liquid storage tanks and separation equipment for the oil and gas, power, municipal water, wastewater, chemical, and food industries. As you can see from the pictures, these tanks are enormous and can be built to hold up to 1,000 barrels. It was very interesting to see this facility in person!

As always, you can follow me on Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter.

Sincerely,

Rep. Mike Conaway, 11th District
