Conaway Chronicle: National Police Week, ROTC Commissioning at ASU, Stephenville Historical House Museum
Thank you for reading The Conaway Chronicle, a review of my activities in Congress and the 11th District.
National Police Week
This week, the House of Representatives celebrated National Police week to honor the brave men and women in law enforcement. We started the week off with a 21-Gun Salute at the U.S. Capitol, and spent the week working on legislation to support our law enforcement officers. We passed H.R. 115, the Thin Blue Line Act, and H.R. 1039, the Probation Officer Protection Act, both of which will protect the very officers who give up so much to protect us. As we wrap up National Police Week, don't forget to thank an officer in your community!

Stephenville Historical House Museum
The Stephenville Historical House Museum in Stephenville, Texas, offers a unique opportunity to explore Stephenville’s history. Located in the “Cowboy Capitol of the World,” the museum boasts 12 structures from the 19th Century. The campus spans 3 acres near the Bosque River, and each building contains period furnishings and artifacts. Visit a beautifully preserved schoolhouse, a 2-story Victorian House, a chapel and more! Self-guided and guided tours are available during office hours, 10-5pm Tuesdays through Saturdays, and 1-5pm on Sundays. The free museum is funded by donations, it is a great way to re-live the unique heritage of the Cross Timbers region.
